In January of 2017, I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea. During my sleep study I had over 600 episodes in an 8-hour period. My pulmonologist was even more concerned with my central apnea. That's where your brain and your heart are adversely affected. This gave me the "wake up call" that I needed!! (No pun intended). My health became my biggest “WHY"!
I had had success with Weight Watchers in the past so I decided I would follow the plan on my own. I shed 20 lbs. from the end of January to April. At that point, I knew I needed the added accountability and support that a "weigh-in" in front of a WW staff would provide. Also, I knew I needed the support from Connect and Meeting attendance. So, the end of April 2017, I joined Weight Watchers for the final time!
As of January 2018, I have successfully dropped 52 lbs. That's not my only success ...
I will achieve goal in 2018. The struggle with weight loss is REAL but WORTH IT.
