No time to work out? No problem! Slip in these quick, at-home workouts, burn calories and don't worry about going to the gym. And keep an eye out for opportunities to take the stairs, park in the far corner of the lot, haul shopping bags, and so on.
- Sweep or mop the kitchen floor.
- Do walking lunges down a hallway and back, repeat till times up.
- Do some calf raises (rise up on the balls of your feet, pause, then lower) while stirring a pot on the stove.
- Turn up the tunes (maybe your favorite hip-hop from high school days?) and dance like no one’s watching (on one is!).
- Hula hoop! It’s core challenging than it looks and lots of fun to boot.
